June 20 - Horse Cave KY to Atlanta GA

We packed up all of the camping gear for the last time for a year.  I know how time flies - so I bet it will seem like no time before we are unpacking it again next summer.

We stopped in Nashville where we walked around downtown for a while and then met Anne (a friend's daughter from Walla Walla who has a summer internship in Nashville.)  We went to a restaurant that had a sign that said "a banana has 105 calories, a shot of whiskey has 80 calories, choose wisely."  I chose a catfish po boy that probably had 600 calories - so there.  Good thing we walked around town for the hour before lunch.

We made it to the Eastern time zone and are now in Atlanta. Except for a great dinner in a Mexican restaurant with Scott (a high school friend of Albert), we didn't really stop to see anything in Atlanta.  We have traded forests and lakes for palm trees and pools for now.

Tomorrow on to Florida.  Our last state before leaving the country.
