June 6 - Food of the World

Today's cultural activity at school was a potluck with student's bringing food from their home countries.  I brought mashed potatoes and a beef stew like gravy and cheese biscuits.  There was food from China, India, Scotland, England, Germany, Italy, Morocco, Spain and lots of stuff from the US.  Lots of food - mmmmmm.

After the party, it was time for class - and I was back to being the only student in class.  It was a good class.  Now, after all the cooking and homework this morning, partying and class this afternoon, and a little more homework tonight - I am about ready for bed.  

Today is the day of sixes, it is the sixth day of the sixth month of the year and six weeks from today - we will be back in Walla Walla.
